2013 Membership Recognition

Emmon Schmucker began his career in real estate in the early 1990’s. He worked as a sales agent for 5 years before he opened his own firm where he continued to operate as Broker for 13 years before recently joining Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber. Emmon’s goal is not only to succeed in business, but to give back to his Board and to leave the world a better place than it is right now. He inspires others to see the endless possibilities life offers and has united others together to make the lives of those around him better.

Emmon has served on many committees for both the Board and MLS including ECBOR & MLS Finance Committees, Strategic Plan, Grievance, and Profession Standards. He served as the 2011 MLS President and is the 2013 ECBOR President. He is a participant in the 2013 Indiana Association of Realtors Leadership Academy and is on their Board of Directors.

Emmon is the President of Dream Ministries, an organization that provides independent living for women with disabilities, Deacon at Grace Community Church, and serves as a Missionary to Thailand and Cambodia where he and his wife Dana provide support to orphanages in each country. His hobbies include camping, trains, woodworking, and cooking.

Steve Noonan has been a member of the Board for 6 years and has volunteered on several committees including Marketing, Entertainment, and has served as Chairman of the Programs Committee. He is always stepping up to offer his help with events and programs and each year works tirelessly as a Holiday Auction volunteer.

Steve has been in sales his entire career and owned his own business prior to coming into the real estate industry. He is very professional and takes service to his customer very seriously but also has a delightful sense of fun, energetic, and outgoing.

Steve is a father of two adult children, Alexa and Christopher, and has been married to his wife Sue for 31 years. He is active in his church, an avid runner, and loves spending time with his family.

Chuck Fortino
Prudential One Realty

Chuck Fortino joined the Board in 1963. Chuck specializes in commercial real estate (especially business brokerage). His professional designations include CBR (Certified Residential Broker) and MIRM. Chuck works as a Broker for Prudential One Realty in Elkhart.

The REALTOR® Emeritus status is available to any person who has held membership in the National Association of REALTORS® as a REALTOR® for a cumulative period of 40 years. Members who may qualify are asked to contact the Board office. An application will be submitted to the National Association of Realtors. Upon certification of application and approval by the NAR Board of Directors, the member no longer has to pay NAR dues and will be considered a NAR Life Member.
