About Voicemail

The MLS of Elkhart County has an integrated voice mail system designed for member use. Upon application to the MLS, each member receives a voice mail number and training on how to maximize the benefit of an MLS-wide voice mail system. The voice mail system integrates the Elkhart County and South Bend/Mishawaka MLS so messages can be answered and sent to multiple members without ever hanging up the phone. The cost of the voice mail service is included in the monthly MLS Unit of Service.

Voice mail provides agents with a dedicated, private phone number for totally accurate and confidential message taking 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Your MLS voice mail box can be set up to be the only answering system you will need for your office, cell phone and home. Your calls are answered on the first ring in your own voice and can be used as your fax number and sent as an email to your Outlook program. Our Voice mail system offers flexibility and options not available with an ordinary answering service or answering machine.

• Can save messages to play at a later time or forward them to another MLS member in our network.
• Will answer numerous calls simultaneously.
• Voice Mail doesn't ring in your home or office so calls can be made and sent at all hours without disturbing anyone.
• Can listen to messages from any touch-tone phone in the world.
• Can forward more than one phone to your MLS voice mailbox.
• All messages are private and can only be accessed using a personal password.
• Each message is time stamped.
• Voice Mail can be used for business and personal purposes, friends, family and business contacts can always leave messages in your voice mailbox.
• Additional options are available including immediate notification when a message is left in your voice mail.
