ECBOR motion passed to retain ethics/arbitration hearing files until all the appeals have been completed or a maximum of one year following the final appeals.
Julie updated the members on the conversion process and handed out paperwork to assist members with the conversion process.
NAR has offered the opportunity for the Board to purchase additional insurance. This will be referred to the Board attorney.
A letter from the Health Department was presented outlining the appropriate procedures for obtaining soil sample information.
Julie reported on errors in the transmission of data from the MLS system to Realtor.com Realtor.com is working to resolve the situation.
President Dave Myers presented an opportunity to have the phone service at the Board office analyzed by Choice One. He also asked the Board if they would be interested in pursuing partnerships with vendors to raise the non-dues income levels. The Board supported these efforts.
MLS motion passed to approve 3 applications for reciprocity with Northeastern MLS offices. Appraisal Resource - Participating Broker Wendy Frost, All Appraisals Michiana - Participating Broker Robert Ogg, and Caldwell Appraisals, Inc. - Participating Broker Katie Caldwell.
Discussion was held regarding the possibility of daily updates for Elkhart County keypads. The Board instructed Julie to get information on how the process would work and to get information on moving to the Ibox.
The next Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 8:30 AM at the Board office.
