The Impact of Methamphetamine in Elkhart County

Meth labs are just part of what Bill Wargo will address; he will also talk about overall meth use, the manufacture and distribution issue as well as some recent developments that have not even been made public yet. He will also share some of the successes of the ICE Unit (the county-wide enforcement unit) and the problem of crack cocaine distribution and its affiliation with Chicago street gangs.

Bill Wargo's law enforcement experience began in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and a Uniform Patrol Officer from 1969-1971. He joined the Elkhart County Police Department in 1971 and, in 2003, became the Chief Investigator with the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office.
