The Board approved to participate in Homeownership Month in June this year instead of American Home Week in April.

Realtor.com advised the Board that royalties would no longer be paid after the current contract expires in May of 2004. MLS motion approved to sign the amended Realtor.com contract for one year.

Julie Alert presented the changes in the amended ECBOR By-laws and the MLS Rules and Regulations.

Ecbor motion passed to adopt the NAR requested changes as submitted. MLS motion passed to adopt the Rules and Regulations as submitted.

M LS Board approved the recommendation from the Computer Task Force to move to Paragon for the next three years and work during that time to facilitate a regional MLS.

MLS motion passed to approve MLS office application to CDN Appraisals, Cassie Nye Participant.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. at the Board office.

REALTOR® Carol Davis (Vite Realty), recently passed away following a long illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Congratulations to one local REALTOR® who completed his GRI course work and passed the final exam to receive the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, Conway Hershberger of Bontrager Hardies Realty. This designation requires the completion of three 30-hour sessions and passing an examination after each section. Less than one percent of all Indiana REALTORS® hold the GRI designation.
