 2005 AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR
The 2005 Affiliate of the Year is Sabrina Rife of Stewart Title Corporation. Sabrina has only been a member of this Board since 2003 but she has gone above and beyond what is expected of her. Sabrina has made it a point to volunteer for every single event the Entertainment committee plans. She has unselfishly donated of her time and talents to make every event successful and works very, very hard raising funds for the Board’s many events. Sabrina has never said no, always smiles, and is always prepared to see a job through to its completion.
Sabrina has been with Stewart Title Corporation for 8 years and has worked her way from a part time position as a currier, to a receptionist and clerical worker and presently as a marketing and sales representative. She is married and they are raising a 12 year old son.
 2005 REALTOR OF THE YEAR
Kathy Elliot, the 2005 REALTOR® of the Year, has been licensed for about 30 years. She has served on virtually every committee and as a member of the board several times over. Kathy has always operated on the “open door policy”, always offering solid, honest, and ethical advice to any agent seeking assistance.
Kathy started out as a sales person for a local brokerage. Over the years she progressed by becoming a broker, then became a partner, and finally an owner of her own firm. Kathy chose to pay back by serving on the Board of Directors, serving as President of the local Board of Directors, as well as President of the MLS. Kathy received recognition for her involvement with the Political Action Committee. While working the chairs to President of the Board of REALTORS®, she became active in two state committees, and effectively represented this board on the State level.
Kathy has been instrumental in this board’s growth with modern technology and has worked hard to keep herself abreast of all the new business opportunities and methods being cast upon all of us today. Kathy lives her saying “we learn by doing.”
We congratulate Kathy Elliot for a recognition well deserved.
