UNIT OF SERVICE REDUCED FOR 2005

Great News! The 2004 Finance Committee was able to reduce MLS monthly fees from $78.00 to $74.50 for 2005. This new rate will be effective January 1, 2005.

RECIPROCITY WITH NORTHEASTERN MLS BEGINS JANUARY 1, 2005

Effective January 1, 2005, the Northeastern MLS and the Elkhart County MLS have reached an agreement allowing members to share services for a reduced fee. The agreement allows Particpants from the respective MLS’s to apply for membership by completing the membership application with the MLS and submit it to the MLS for Board approval. The Participant will need to list themselves and the names of any agents who wish to access the service.

Each MLS has agreed to waive the initial start –up fees. The cost per user per month will be $25.00. Please be aware each MLS may have incidental fees for items not included in the monthly service. Users should familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations of the MLS, which includes payment of fines for violation of any rules, before they sign the application to avoid any misunderstandings. Each MLS has different rules and operating procedures and it will be the responsibility of each users to read and understand their obligations under the new MLS.

The agreement also includes access to keyboxes. In order to access the boxes of the Northeastern MLS members will need to contact the Northeastern MLS at 1-800-373-8119 or 260-347-1593.

Applications to the Northeastern MLS are available from the Northeastern MLS. Members interested will contact that office for all the proper paperwork. Please remember, upon application you are agreeing to abide by their rules and regulations that may be significantly different than the Elkhart County MLS rules and regulations. When you sign the application, the Participant agrees to follow the rules and pay any fines incurred for violation of those rules.
