Association Executive, Julie Alert, reported RPAC participation doubled in 2004 due to contributions being billed with the annual dues.
The Board will be seeing a presentation from a company who provides centralized showing services for local Board’s and offices in February.
The Board approved a Reciprocity agreement with the Northeastern MLS as submitted beginning January 1, 2005.
A Facilities Task Force was created with Don DeShano as Chairman to consider the issues facing the Board office. The widening of US 33, taking the frontage from the building and the lack of conference room space are the driving issues. Committee Members are Dave Myers, Kent Miller, Brett Crume, Rick VanGilder, Janice Ruszkowski, and Barb Swartley. The Board gave the committee authority to proceed with searching for other properties or devising plans to modify the existing building.
Motion passed to appoint a task force to research the idea of moving exclusively to state forms in the future. A Forms Policy Task Force was created with Dean Slabach as Chairman. Members are Joyce Ott, Barb Swartley, Jeff Birky, and Vicki Myers. Dean Slabach will pick two additional members to sit on the task force.
MLS President, Rick VanGilder reported the Participants By-law review Task Force has been appointed and will be meeting after the holidays. The Task Force consists of Sam Dashiell, Rick VanGilder, Don DeShano, Larry Bontrager, Brad Kratzer, Dave Myers and Emmon Schmucker.
The next Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. at the Board office.
