iBox™ BENEFITS

Significant enhancements to the iBox include:

  • A slimmer figure for narrow doorways and screen doors.
  • A key container that holds up to three house keys (the current electronic KeyBox holds two).  It’s smaller on the outside, but bigger on the inside!
  • An all-metal key container with chain in the middle to eliminate jamming.
  • The key container is “touch and release” which eliminates the need to “tug” on the pouch.
  • Different hours for weekday showings versus Saturday or Sunday (three different access hours settings).
  • Electronic notes that can be left by the listing agent for showing agents:  i.e. “Alarm code is”, “Carpets just cleaned”, or “Take shoes off”.
  • An electronic flyer that can be programmed by the listing agent for the showing agent.
  • Compatibility with many handheld computers on the market.
  • Recording 150% more accesses than current electronic KeyBox.
  • A slate blue color so dirt is less noticeable.

CHOOSE THE LOCKBOX THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU!

GE Security enables you to use a Smartphone or PDA to open your iBoxes as well as manage MLS data and showing information - all in one device. Now you can use certified devices with the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.

Do you want to use a smartphone as your lockbox key?

With a smartphone, you carry one device that does it all — cell phone, organizer, and lockbox key. Your key is renewed automatically in the middle of the night through a wireless connection without the use of a cradle. MLS and showing information can also be downloaded.
These are the smartphones you can choose from and the wireless carriers that support them. Information and key renewals are delivered wirelessly.

Palm OS
• Treo 650 - Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, SunCom Wireless, AllTel
• Treo 600 - Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Cellular One of Amarillo
• Samsung i500 - Sprint

Windows OS
• SmartDevice PPC-6700 - Sprint
If you do not already have one of the above smartphones, contact your wireless carrier to obtain one. A voice and data service plan is also required for wireless updates when using a smartphone as your lockbox key.

eSYNC Connection Options for Your Smartphone
There are two ways to eSYNC your smartphone: wirelessly, or through your computer. Your smartphone comes with a factory-shipped cradle or cable. Save wireless minutes by downloading update codes using the cradle or cable connected to your computer through the Internet. PC-Internet eSYNC is automatic if your computer is on and internet connection is active.
