Discussion was held regarding the “No photo fine” policy. Motion passed to charge $25 for a “No photo” for the first offense and a $100 no photo fine for each offense thereafter on the same property with the effective billing date of July 1, 2006.

Joyce Ott reported the IAR Forms committee meetings will be held in Indianapolis on July 18, July 27 and August 2, 2006. Julie will send out a notice to the membership giving them the schedule and asking for suggestions for Joyce to take to the committee. The Board would like to review the suggestions from the membership prior to sending them on to the state for consideration. Joyce was asked to discuss adding South Bend’s water certification language to the state contract to make it easier for members to do business in St. Joe County.

Julie presented the MLS and ECBOR 1st Quarter 2006 financial statements. Each statement was reviewed and discussed. The ECBOR 1st Quarter 2006 Board financial statement was filed for audit. The MLS 1st Quarter 2006 financial statement was filed for audit.

Julie Alert reviewed the upcoming schedule of events with the Board. New member orientation was changed to June 29th at Bayer Federal Credit Union in Elkhart. The ECBOR mid-year budget review is scheduled for July 11, 2006 at 2:30 PM at the Board office. The MLS mid-year budget review is scheduled for July 18, 2006 at 2:30 PM at the Board office. The Finance committee consists of the Executive Committee and the Past President of each Board. The next Board of Directors meeting is July 13, 2006 beginning at 8:30 AM at the Board office. The July Membership meeting will be a breakfast meeting held at the Maplecrest Country Club at 8:30 AM in Goshen.

Julie Alert and Chairman Bob Przybylski presented the recommendations from the Broker Reciprocity Task Force. MLS motion passed to adopt the recommendations from the task force as presented. Julie updated the Board on the sale of Lot 4 Alpha Drive. Julie made the Board aware the Elkhart rental ordinance was passed without input from the Board.

Julie Alert, ECBOR President Don DeShano, and MLS President Karen Smith presented a power point presentation showing the advantages of converting to the Supra I-Box. Motion passed to do a full conversion to the Supra I-Box.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on July 13, 2006 at 8:30 AM at the Board Office.
