Is there any way to search for specific fields without going into "add criteria"?

When you are entering your searach, you will find two blank lines at the bottom of the basic search criteria page. These two lines are available to search specific fields without going into the "add criteria" section. All you need to do is type in the field abbreviation from the input sheet with an equal (=) sign and then your code or date you're searching for. Examples are listed below:

I recently was informed that our parcel numbering system was going to change. Is this true? How will the new parcel index numbering system be structed?

Dear Parceling:

The new parcel number system is currently being implemented now. The MLS office has notified Re/Xplorer of the change. The new tape the county will be sending in the next month or so to update our system will have the new numbers. The new parcel index numbering system will be structered as "00-00-00-000-000.000-000." The digits indicated shall reference the following:

1. The first "00" digits shall reference the county.

2. The second "00" digits shall reference the congressional township and range.

3. The third "00" digits shall reference the section number assigned under the United States public lands survey.

4. The fourth "000" digits shall reference block numbers in urban areas (if no block number is necessary they remain all zeros.

5. The fifth "000.000" digits shall reference the permanent parcel number assigned to identify each parcel.

6. The last "000" digits shall reference the taxing district in which the parcel is located (if it is only a two digit numver the first digit is to remain a zero.)
