Paragon MLS Highlights continued...

  • AGENT PHONE NUMBERS

After a month of trying to work out an acceptable solution to agent phone number access it has been determined the MLS will support three phone numbers for agents who have provided the numbers to the MLS. The phone numbers will be agent home phone (appearing in the agent phone number field as a default) agent voice mail number (as assigned by the MLS) and agent cell number (if provided by agent to MLS). Unfortunately, the Paragon system does not allow agents to access their own records. We have sent a formal request to FNIS, however, they don't have an efficient way to determine if or when this may come about. So we have to work together to try and get the phone numbers manually entered into the Paragon system.

To have an agent phone number added to the system, the office will need to send us the request to do so. Please do not include any phone numbers currently showing in the system as this will just make the work more time consuming. The best way to facilitate this would be for the office to send one document with the name of the agent, the phone number and what phone number it is. Example: Julie Alert - Cell phone number - 111-1111.

Again, please do not include any phone numbers all ready showing in the Paragon system. We will schedule this project as soon as we receive assurance the information will not be wiped out when it is refreshed on the nightly upload program which has been the case to date.

  • COMPARABLE SOLD BOOK

The first quarter comp book will be late and will be somewhat different than we have been getting. FNIS will try and do better next quarter.

  • ADVANCED CMA

In the Paragon system, the CMA module allows for a "Quick CMA" by selecting CMA, Search, doing the Search, and then selecting the standard CMA reports (Quick View - formerly the 3 up report and the CMA Summary) The advanced CMA allows agents to upload cover letters, agent and office resumes and do adjustments. However, to upload or adjust this information go to Preferences, CMA, Manage Reports and adjustments. This will allow you to edit various letters in the CMA program.

  • TAX REPORT

The Paragon system is set-up to allow for the tax report to be printed out from the search results screen by selecting Views/Reports, Specialty Views and then tax. However, this is still be set up by FNIS. We don't have an ETA on completion but I will try and notify agents through the list serve.

  • PRINT PLUS

We recommend using print plus for all your printing needs. The report you selected will show up in the right hand box and you will also see a list of reports on the left hand side. You can click on any of these reports in the left hand box and they will appear in the right hand box and print along with your requested report. This can save a lot of time because the user does not have to go back and forth for each report.

  • COPY OF E-MAILS SENT IN PARAGON

If you want a copy of any e-mail you send out in the Paragon system you must adjust your agent setting. Go to Preferences, User, Select the e-mail tab - Put a check mark in the "Autofill BCC:With User e-mail address" Now when you create a new or modify an existing auto-notification you will receive a Blind Carbon Copy.
