Julie presented ECBOR ByLaw changes. ECBOR motion passed to approve mandatory and suggested changes to the ECBOR ByLaws. Mandatory changes will take effect immediately with suggested changes after membership approval at the April Membership meeting.

Julie updated the members on the conversion process and passed out additional helpful tips to assist members with the conversion process. The MLS photo policy that begins June 16, 2005 was reviewed. While the Board did not change the office responsibility date, they did authorize uploading privileges for agents to begin Monday, April 18, 2005 with Broker written approval. Additional office and agent listing input authorization was postponed until the May Board of Directors meeting for clarification of security and discussion. Julie will investigate listing input security levels for agents plus see if a report is available to Brokers who wish to see a log of changes from their office.

Julie reported the new comp book statistical layout will be different. The Board would like Julie to investigate having a third party create a quarterly statistical page for distribution.

The conversion between the Rapattoni Membership database and Paragon is not complete at this time. Converting all additional phone numbers has delayed the process.

Personal promotion was discussed. All remarks concerning listing agents or offices should be added to the Agent Remarks field in Paragon.

Julie updated the Board on the transition for the Broker Reciprocity Vendors and the new Paragon system. Julie reported all vendors were very cooperative and patient.

Board Attorney, Jim McCaslin, presented the Board with two opportunities to increase insurance offered by NAR. The Board decided not to increase the NAR Antitrust insurance. However, the Board did request a complete detail of existing coverage. Discussion was held on Network Security Coverage. No action was taken.

MLS motion passed to approve NorthEastern reciprocity application for Howe-LaGrange Agency/GMAC Real Estate - Participating Broker Jerry Stanner.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 8:30 AM at the Board office.

Welcome back to Carol, our Board Secretary, who recently had heart surgery to repair two blocked arteries. All of us at the Board office really missed her and appreciate her return.

REALTOR® John McMahon, Century 21 Abbey Realty, passed away May 5, 2005 after an extended illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
