Dear MLS Update:
I am a new agent. I have noticed on the bottom of my listings in the MLS, my phone number is missing. How can I get it to display?

Dear Phoneless:
The MLS system default is set so the agent phone number does not show. The MLS system holds three phone numbers, Agent Phone number, voice mail and cell phone. Agents who want their phone number to show or to change the phone number will go into the MLS and change their preferences.
To do this Click on Preferences - User - Search and put a check mark in the box that says "Show phone number w/agent name" then select the phone number you wish to appear in the box below and the select Save. The phone number you selected will appear on the reports.

I am an agent and I thought I saw something about firm inventory. Is this where I go to pull up my own listings? Where do I go if I want to see all the listings in our office?

Taking Inventory
Dear Taking Inventory:
To conduct an inventory search:
- Click Search > Firm Inventory to display the firm inventory search form.

The firm inventory search enables users to find their listings, listings assigned to their firm, or listings assigned to another agent within their firm.
Note: Searching another agents listing is only available to office managers or brokers.
Like other lookups, the search parameters are limited. However, unique to the Firm Inventory search is the number of date ranges that can be added to the search criteria.
- Enter as much criteria as necessary.
- Click Count to display the number of listings that will be returned when the search is completed.

If this number is too small or too large, adjust the search parameters and click Count again. Repeat until the desired number of listings is returned.
- Click Search to display the default view for Firm Inventory searches.

AGENT SEARCH FOR FIRM INVENTORY
- Select Search
- Select Multi-class Search
The criteria screen will appear. You can leave most of the fields blank and you will get everything. In the status field - either leave it blank for everything including off-market inventory or click on the arrow and select the statuses you want to see. Active, FRR, BUP
Select Open on the secondary criteria box Click the arrow in the Listing Office field and enter your office name Select your office and click either View or Search
This will bring up all your office inventory.
If you will use this search often, save the search with the criteria and name it Inventory Search and then you can use the search for looking at office Inventory without adding criteria.
