The 2006 Annual Dues have been mailed and are due October 1, 2005. Dues not paid by October 31, 2005 will incur a $75 reinstatement fee.
Julie will be attending the Fidelity MLS Users Group in Kansas City September 12-16, 2005. IAR Tri-Annuals will be held in Indianapolis September 20 - 22, 2005. The September Membership meeting will be the annual Vendor Show and South Bend will be invited to give additional exposure to our Affiliates.
Julie updated the Board on the status of the new building. The Board suggested closing as needed to keep the quoted rate.
A memo went to all Participants announcing additional listing maintenance features will be available to office support staff as of September 6, 2005. Offices will now be able to extend, renew, withdraw and put listings back on market; however, this process will be audited and reviewed by the Board to monitor the situation. At this time, agents will not be able to maintain their listings but this will be the next available feature.
NAR has donated over $1,000.000 to the Katrina Hurricane Relief fund. Realtors® can also donate through NAR by going to www.ecbor.com. MLS President, Kent Miller, advised the Board of available Red Cross classes if anyone wanted to help with the Katrina Hurricane Relief Project.
A Broker Reciprocity Task Force was appointed consisting of Bob Przybylski, Karen Smith, Joydeen Smith, and Kent Miller. The task force will address unauthorized data access by members and how to market the program to members.
MLS motion passed to approve MLS office application for C. Marshall & Company Inc., Cami Marshall Participant. MLS motion passed to approve applications from Kosciusko Reciprocity office, Integrity Realty Group, Dan Harstine Participant and Stump-Lucas Realty, Mary Stump Participant.
The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on October 13, 2005 at 8:30 AM at the Board Office.
