The October membership meeting is the annual meeting for ECBOR and MLS. At the meeting, you will be voting on the proposed 2007 slate of officers and directors for ECBOR & MLS. The ECBOR annual meeting notice, proxy, and proposed ECBOR ByLaw changes were mailed to each REALTOR member and the MLS Annual Meeting Notice and proxy were mailed to each Participant prior to the meeting.

If you are not able to attend the meeting, but would like to cast your vote, please fax or mail your proxy to the Board office. Please note: MLS Participants will have two proxies, one for ECBOR and one for MLS.

Cathy Searcy will be the scheduled speaker for the meeting. In May, Cathy won the primary election and will be the Republican Candidate for Elkhart County Assessor’s in the November election. She began working for the County Auditor in January 1997 and in 1998 transferred to the County Assessor’s Office. While working for the current Assessor, her main assignments were involved with the Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals.

THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE THE HOLIDAY AUCTION SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2006 AT THE MATTERHORN RESTAURANT. MEMBERS AND ANYONE WHO BRINGS AN AUCTION ITEM WILL RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY LUNCH.
