Dear MLS Update:

I have a listing that does not have a fireplace. However, in realtor.com, it states the listing does. I checked my listing in our MLS. In the fireplace field, I put “no.” How can this be?

At this time, if you put anything in the fireplace field in our MLS, realtor.com will show there is a fireplace. So please leave this field blank if your listing does not have a fireplace. A similar problem exists for basement. However with basement, you do not have an option to leave the field blank. If your listing has a crawl space, it will show a basement. Realtor.com is working on the problem.

Dear MLS Update:

Do you remember that orange manual we received way back when we were trained on our current MLS system? I loaned mine to a new agent. She can’t find it. I’m just lost without it. Is there anyway I can get another one?

Dear Lost Manual:

The MLS office can provide you with an Re/Xplorer manual in electronic form. Also, all new agents receive the same manual at new member orientation. However, if the new agent in your office needs another copy, we would be happy to email her one also.
