NAR IS AWARDED HIGHEST ADVERTISING RECOGNITION

NAR's 2005 Public Awareness Campaign has been Awarded Telly Awards for all three of its spots: "Dream Home" (First Time Buyer), "Good Bye House" (Seller) and for our Commercial Specialist spot, "Legalese".

With a record 12,500 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this year's Telly Awards has been the most competitive in the over a quarter-century long history of the Telly. The Telly Awards honor outstanding TV commercials, as well as the finest video and film productions. Winners and Finalists represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies in the world. Other winners include Adidas, 7-Up, The Fox News Channel, Microsoft and other national brands and organizations.

The National Association of REALTORS® urges you to be mindful of the particular risks inherent in your profession and to take advantage of training resources offered through NAR, your state and local associations, and your brokerage. To raise awareness about this important issue, September 11 - 17, 2005 has been officially designated as the third annual REALTOR® Safety Week.

Among the precautions NAR recommends: Carry a charged cell phone, leave at home cash and expensive jewelry, and tell your broker or office receptionist when and where you went and with whom.
