How to Join ECBOR as an Affiliate Member
- Who can be an Affiliate?
Anybody working for a company that is involved in real estate, banks, title companies, surveyors, attorneys, etc.
- How do I join?
Download and print an application (online or in PDF format, mail with the fees (see fee chart) or call the Association at 574-875-3283 and ask to have an application faxed or mailed to you.
- Should I join as an individual or a corporate Affiliate?
If your company is just one individual or only one person from your office is interested in joining then you should choose the individual membership. A corporate membership is designed for companies who have more than one individual who will be joining. They get a break on the fees for any membership over the first one. (see fee chart)
- What happens next?
- At the following Board of Directors meeting, your membership will be formally presented for approval.
- You will receive an official Letter of Welcome along with notice of your introduction to the membership where you will receive your Affiliate Pin.
- Your name and company will appear in an upcoming electronic issue of the Chips newsletter.
Affiliate Keypad Application Process
Affiliates requesting an Electronic Access Card from the Multiple Listing Service of Elkhart County must first maintain an active Affiliate membership with the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS®. The following documentation must be completed and submitted to the MLS office for approval at the next Board of Directors meeting.
- Multiple Listing Service of Elkhart County, Inc. Electronic Access Card Lease Agreement – Three part form to be completed and signed along with a check made payable to MLS. Please note the three MLS Participants must be Principal Brokers of three different offices who are members of our Board. (Please call the Board Office for amount of check.)
- Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
- Copy of current Certificate of Insurance with MLS as Certificate Holder
- Formal request in writing describing why your Company is in need of an Access Card
